Jake Childs is a producer, live performer, and founder of Uni.form Recordings. Born in Austin and rooted in the underground of Houston, he’s known for crafting raw, genre-defying electronic music that merges the grit of techno with the soul of house. A true multi-instrumentalist and visual storyteller, Jake’s work extends beyond the studio — weaving sound, concept, and emotion into everything he creates.

Since the early 2000s, his releases have landed on respected labels including Blu-Fin, Bush, OM Records, and Freerange, with a sound that consistently defies templates and resists categorization. From remixing Carl Cox and Blaze to collaborating with artists like Larry Tee and FM Attack, Jake’s discography reflects both range and intention.

Now entering a new era, Jake returns with a focus on deep creative control — channeling not just music, but meaning. Every track, video, and visual is part of a broader expression: one that speaks to memory, resistance, and self-awakening through sound.
